If you like it hard and fast...then welcome to the world of Kill Deville. We are not just another punk band from Southern California. This band of punks reside in Southern California. Our styles include a taste of old school basslines, thrashy-speed punk beats, heavy screaming guitar licks as fast as you can handle, and aggressive vocals that have a sick sense, but that most can relate to. Kill Deville has commented to have a new sound that resembles acts such as D.R.I. (Dirty Rotten Imbeciles), Guttermouth, and M.O.D. (Method of Destruction).
As for fans and venues, they have all commented us for a tight performance and notice familiar faces in the crowd as well as new ones.
Currently we are continuing to write new material as current affairs unfold. As in the summer of 2005 Kill Deville recorded a 12 track CD with a few favorites of ours to introduce our new sound to the music industry. Although, not all material was recorded due to a favorable decision by the band. We only provide the best music to be distributed. We have taken a few songs to make promotional CD’s to be given away for promoting the band at our expense. There can never be too much promoting. Also by Internet users, we have a page for friends and fans to keep in touch with us for feedback, new music and show dates.
James and Turtle have been making music together for 10 years through other side projects. Daniel has an impressive talent for upright bass and guitar. His music theory studies have given us a hand with song writing structures. Then there is Joel. Joel is an individual unique person in his own sick way, coming from a past of theatre performances. He knows how to work a crowd by keeping their attention in somewhat of an unorthodox manner. We formed this band in hope to bring the fun back into punk rock. These days, it has become so serious and most of the bands do what society tells them to. We rebel by keeping it real about who we are, where we come from and what we stand for.
We have played with such acts as The Adicts, Fear, Dead Kennedys, Dr. Know, Guttermouth, White Kaps, Agent Orange, Go Betty Go, Angry Samoans, Butt Trumpet, Total Chaos, The Dickies,The Exploited, The Reselince, Final Conflict, The Ghouls, and D.I. . Kill Deville hopes to roam the world bringing our music to unite all as one. It’s the passion for music that fuels our fire to produce a single purpose, reality. All material is based on true facts of life the millions of lost souls can relate to. We plan to tour to build a fan base of friends that will help us make a product that called…Kill Deville.
